A service that repeatedly puts the shine back into the products if needed. |

| BREE Design |
| BREE bags meet the needs of an era dominated by mobility and variety. The deliberate concentration on the essential remains the decisive factor for BREE. Aesthetic, functional and economic aspects that have grown over the years at BREE into their own design language all flow into the design of a bag. BREE stands for a clear-cut design that combines functionality with the highest quality materials. We leave exuberance and superficiality up to others, BREE design reflects an understanding of modern luxury.
The natural material leather takes top rank here. But BREE also uses other materials and understands how to create a harmony between the nature and properties of a material as well as the ergonomics and functionality of the finished product. The BREE model "Punch", with its mixture of leather and truck tarpaulin, turned the bag world upside down at its premiere, quickly becoming a bestseller that today is one of the most copied BREE products.
Hall of Fame
BREE has already won around 100 famous design prizes over its company history. In Ranking:Design - a representative evaluation of the most important German design competitions - BREE has held the No. 1 position in the product group "Accessoires" for seven years. The company has thus succeeded in being nominated for the Hall of Fame. With its trend-setting design, BREE has almost twice as many ratings points as the runner-up and leaves other rivals on the bag market far behind. |

| BREE - The History |
| Wolf Peter Bree founded the BREE Collection in 1970 with 8,000 marks cash in his pocket. In the preceding years he had already had some success as an independent designer, but by founding the company he wanted to realise his dream of making bags a trademark and internationally successful quality term.
Wolf Peter Bree started out as the designer, buyer and salesman as well as brand strategist all in one. He doggedly and untiringly pursued the realisation of his concept and celebrated his first successes in 1972: his designs are awarded design prizes and it is clear that Bree is on the right track. Bee products hit the zeitgeist with their mixture of natural leather and minimalist design.
Expansion to an international brand
"If you start out by trying to do something well, success and moneymaking will come on their own", is one of his principles. Wolf Peter Bree sticks to natural leather for production and is thus way ahead of his rivals. BREE bags combine traditional craftsmanship with modern demands - the founder of the business consistently expands the company into an international brand.
Bree develops the brand further with great commitment, a great feeling for the market and the right timing. But despite all of the innovations the nature lover and enthusiastic sportsman remains modest and prudent. "I base my work on the values of my parents. Everything I have earned has been reinvested", he will later say.
The start of expansion abroad
In 1976 exports begin to neighbouring countries, initially Switzerland. Bree chooses his partners for the new foreign markets very carefully. They must have an excellent knowledge of the market and products, the search for suitable locations is subject to strict criteria. The company also grows with the expansion of business. Wolf Peter Bree gathers a young and dynamic team around himself that works as an entity and constantly expands the company's success.
By 1993 there are not only 27 BREE franchise shops in Germany but also trading partners in Hong Kong, Japan, the USA, Canada, Switzerland and Luxembourg. This is also the year in which the company moves into its new building near the capital of Lower Saxony, Hanover. The group of buildings with its clear architectural lines is still the company headquarters and has lost nothing of its appeal over the years. BREE has by now established itself in the upper market segment as a brand. National and international design awards are heaped on the products and BREE bags are increasingly being illegally copied - another sign of respect.
Reorganisation after the sudden death of the founder
Wolf Peter Bree dies suddenly and unexpectedly in March 1996. An interim solution creates the necessary breather to reorganise the company management. On January 1st, 2001 the two sons of the founder of the business, Axel and Philipp Bree, are appointed to the management. By then, both have gained experience in other companies.
The BREE collection will be continued in the spirit of its creator: new strategic goals are set , the company is reorganised to meet the demands of the new millennium. The "We-Feeling" in the company is documented in the new motto:
BREE - always one step ahead. |

| How to care for Leather |
All leathers need care and attention and here it's not the amount but the appropriate kind of treatment that is crucial.
These are the main points to remember:
Try out any care products on a hidden area to start with to see if the treatment alters the colour or finish in any way.
Do not use solvents of any kind - only recommended leather care products.
Protect leather from moisture and water stains.
Be sure to dry wet or damp leather, but only at room temperature.
Never store leather handbags in plastic bags. Always use a cloth bag.
With a litle care your purchase will still look great even after many years of use. |
